Recommendation by ICCAT on the Principles of Decision Making for ICCAT Conservation and Management Measures (Rec.11-13).

The ICCAT uses the Kobe Plot to guide management measures for its managed fish stocks. For healthy stocks, measures aim to maintain their status with a high probability of sustainability. For stocks experiencing overfishing or already overfished, the Commission must adopt immediate actions to end overfishing as quickly as possible, considering biological and scientific advice. Additionally, overfished stocks require rebuilding plans designed to restore them within the shortest feasible timeframe.
