Regulation No. 32 on home assistance.

This Greenland Home Rule Regulation establishes the rules for home-help services in Greenland. It allows municipalities to provide either permanent or temporary in-home assistance to elderly persons, people with disabilities, those with long-term illness, and households affected by temporary incapacity due to illness, pregnancy, childbirth, or recovery. The aim is to enable vulnerable individuals to remain safely in their own homes instead of entering institutions. Home help covers ordinary domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, shopping, laundry, personal hygiene, and assistance with dressing and heating, but does not include medical nursing. Users may be required to pay a contribution based on household taxable income, except in certain temporary or social-plan cases. Applications can be made via health or social professionals or directly by households. Municipal social committees administer and supervise the service, and decisions can be appealed under the general social welfare complaint rules.
