The IATTC resolves to propose and consider reference points for south Pacific albacore at the 2026 annual meeting that align with Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) work, based on scientific recommendations. Members and Cooperating Non-Members (CPCs) and IATTC scientific staff are encouraged to collaborate with WCPFC and SPC to investigate stock structures and engage in science-management dialogues to develop a comprehensive harvest strategy. The IATTC scientific staff will develop and distribute data forms for south Pacific albacore to improve data provision under Resolution C-03-05, with presentation and review scheduled at the 2025 SAC meeting. The SAC will assess these operational logbook forms and recommend modifications as needed to ensure their effectiveness and scope.
