These Regulations, made under section 30 of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control Act, Cap. N1, LFN, 2004 and section 12 of the Food, Drugs and Related Products (Registration, Etc.) Act, Cap. F33. LFN, 2004, provide a regulatory framework for the labelling of Animal Feed Premix manufactured, exported, imported, advertised, distributed, sold and used in Nigeria. The Regulations concern: labelling information; name and address of manufacturer; holder of certificate of registration; product identity; list of ingredients; net content and feed additives; storage conditions; brand name or trademark; directions for and methods of use; warnings; prohibitions; offences and penalties; enforcement measures.
