This Decree regulates the implementation of the Programme for Socio-productive, Environmental Recovery and Enhancement of Climate Resilience of Family Farming in Rio Grande do Sul, aiming to ensure the effective operationalization of measures to recover rural productivity, strengthen environmental sustainability, and improve climate resilience in family farming units. It confirms the program’s core objectives of restoring degraded agricultural systems, improving soil fertility, and integrating sustainable technologies aligned with climate adaptation strategies, particularly those connected to low-carbon agricultural development. The decree also establishes the institutional, technical, and operational framework for implementing the program, defining mechanisms for beneficiary selection, financial support, and technical assistance. It introduces structured instruments such as the Individual Integrated Action Plans (PIAIs), which guide investments and interventions at the farm level, combining productive, environmental, and social components. Finally, the decree reinforces governance arrangements through coordinated action among public institutions, technical agencies, and local bodies, while promoting transparency, accountability, and monitoring of results.
