Wildlife Conservation (Non-Consumptive Wildlife Utilization) (Amendment) Regulation, 2025.

This Regulation amends the original text by (i) deleting subregulation 4 of Section 16 concerning the fees payment; (ii) substituting the Third and Fourth Schedules concerning different kind of fees, including access, activities, and commercial operations within conservation or tourism areas. They cover general entry into protected areas, commercial filming and photography permits, and accommodation-related charges such as established or special campsites and fly camps. They also include transport and activity-based fees for vehicles, motorboats, rafting, canoeing, horseback or camel riding, cycling, hiking or mountaineering, night game drives, and sport fishing. Additional charges apply to specialized services such as guides employed by government or authorized associations, aircraft landings, airstrip use, balloon operations and flights. Finally, there are broader conservation and commercial management fees, including wildlife conservation fees, concession fees for lodges and tented camps, and wildlife user right fees, which relate to the authorized commercial or consumptive use of wildlife resources.
