These Regulations amend the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2012 (2012/R-27). Section 7 of the Regulations is amended to include provisions relating to designated certain projects as priority national development projects and expediting their environmental approval process. Further, the fees payable for the review of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report is provided. The provision for review of EIA report is added vide amendment to section 13 of the Regulations.
