This Regulation makes amendments in the principal Regulation. Article 9 of the principal Regulation is amended as regards the application of entrepreneurs wishing to suspend aquaculture production, granting additional time as 1 year and an additional period of up to one year, and in cases where an entrepreneur applies to suspend production due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, fires, and epidemics declared by the state, the suspension period to be determined by the Ministry. Article 10 of the principal Regulation is amended concerning the cancellation of the project of an entrepreneur who fails to obtain an aquaculture certificate within eighteen months from the commencement date of the most recent water or land lease agreement, and inserts new paragraph (e) concerning the cancellation of the project if a water lease agreement is not concluded within the period specified in the second paragraph of Article 9 of the Regulation on leasing in aquaculture production. This Regulation amends Article 11 of the principal Regulation and inserts new paragraphs regarding the procedures of application of entrepreneurs who wish to change species, increase/decrease capacity, increase/decrease area, establish additional units, or relocate their projects. Article 20 of the principal Regulation is amended as regards the employment of technical personnel in aquaculture facilities and hatcheries.
