This Prakas aims to facilitate project owners in preparing initial environmental and social impact assessment reports and expedite the approval process for initial environmental and social impact assessment reports for livestock and aquaculture projects. It provides for the collection and evaluation of information concerning pollution sources, environmental conditions and the impacts of activities on the environment. The annex contains standardized assessment forms and checklists.
